CATERPILLAR

Most creatures in our world have legs, arms or tentacles attached to their body. I thought it would be interesting to explore the possibility of a creature with its body parts attached to its legs instead. Each leg is attached to two body parts. Three legs are used to provide mobility and sturdiness. The intelligence and controlling drivers are distributed throughout the body parts, so that even if one section stops working it can still function as a passive element, demonstrating the power of redundant systems.
