Cross on Lead

This work is a symbolic representation of the collapse of space-time during a Supernova explosion.

As the star collapses to a black hole, and space-time as we know vanishes to the bulk of the universe, represented by the cross of a flattened perspective of the four dimensions of space-time.

The choice of lead for being the last element to which radioactive elements, that are produced during the Super Nova explosion, decay to stable elements.

This work in essence represents the idea of a world created from nothingness and emerging from chaos.

Inevitably random combinations of latent fluctuations in the "fabric" of the void lead to ephemeral manifestations of structures and forms.

Form mixed with entropy lead to energy and its inevitable decay.
