WALLFLOWER

Wallflower is a wall sculpture which will have eight articulated arms with three joints each. It will live on the wall of your house, feeding on your attentions and your electricity. Wallflower can completely close up into a bud or open up all of its petals into a radiant flower, depending on how it feels. Wallflower will have a more sophisticated sensory system which will increase the resolution of its environmental perception. Wallflower’­s petals will be activated by high-voltage, dielectric, electro-activated polymers. Wallflower’s brain will be a neural network that is evolved by Gene Genie, our evolutionary intelligence tool. This neural network will run on our latest version of the Forth Board, a Forth-native micro-controller. Wallflower will be an affordable sculpture that will animate your walls with robotic life.
