DAVID BENJAMIN

I am a second year student at Arizona State University working on a BS in Computer Science. I am originally from Castro Valley, California. My primary interests are computer programming and music composition. I would like to eventually program for a music- or sound-related company such as Creative Labs or Sonic Foundry. You may peruse my resume if you wish.

I do web design, Linux and NetBSD administration, and C++ programming for the Living Sculpture project. I am currently working on a CGI-based interactive web page that will oversee the progress of four Octofungi at two gallery exhibits in March. I will be using C++ for the CGI side and JavaScript for the client side of this web implementation. More information about Living Sculpture exhibits is available here.

In my spare time, I like to go to music concerts; I mostly attend punk rock shows, but I am also interested in ska, funk, jazz, hiphop, triphop, trance, and anything else that catches my interest. I take pretty much any opportunity I get to see live music.
